I’m the best-selling, award-winning author of 12 romantic comedies and non-fiction books including Single-Minded, Fifteen Minutes of Shame, What 7-Figure Authors Do Differently and The Cutting Edge.

I host a writing channel on YouTube where I dole out writing advice to aspiring authors, and While You Were Reading, a podcast for contemporary romance readers.

I was previously the Relationships Editor (and occasional guest host) on DAYTIME, a nationally-syndicated morning TV show, and gave me many opportunities to do awesome stuff like riding a mechanical bull in a wrap dress, watch Aisha Tyler’s directorial debut with Aisha Tyler, and bonding with Timothy Omundson over our mutual love of Galavant.

I’ve been interviewed everywhere from MTV to Entertainment Tonight, and quoted everywhere from Cosmopolitan and US Weekly to USA Today and The New York Times and I was once a cover model for Woman’s World.

My faithful writing assistant Odin is a Havanese (they’re smart and funny, which is why they make great writer dogs.)

I call Siesta Key home, and write from the beach.
